Throne and Liberty Update 1.7.0: Arena Season One and New World Boss Portals Unleashed!
The Throne and Liberty universe just got a serious power boost with Update 1.7.0, which officially rolled out last night, setting the stage for some of the most thrilling battles and community-wide events to date. Downtime started at 10:30 p.m. PT (6:30 a.m. UTC), and after four and a half hours, players were welcomed back with a whole new slate of features and quality-of-life improvements. Here’s everything you need to know, with a special look at the major updates coming to Peace-mode world boss battles and Arena Season One.
Haunted Harvest Ends, Arena Season One Begins!

No more TINGS!!!!!
The haunted vibes of October are now behind us, closing out the Haunted Harvest event. To everyone who braved the spookiness, kudos to you! But with the end of that event comes the launch of Arena Season One. This season, you’ll battle it out against the best to claim unique rewards, including seasonal titles and themed morphs for Dash, Glide, and Swim. If there was ever a time to prove your worth and climb the ranks, it’s now—Arena Season One promises an intense race to the top with high-stakes rewards.
Portals to Peace-mode World Bosses: Fighting Through the Night (and Eclipse!)
In one of the most exciting changes, players in Peace-mode will now have a smoother path to epic world boss battles. With the addition of new access portals at dungeon entrances, you can jump right to the action—no more braving the dangers of Night and Eclipse just to get to the boss! These portals allow you to teleport straight to the boss’s location, giving you a clear shot at these massive foes without needing to risk battles outside the dungeon.
This improvement means more players can safely reach bosses without sacrificing their Peace-mode status, encouraging everyone to take on the world bosses and add their efforts to the server’s storyline, even when conflicts are raging nearby.
Guilds & Stoneguard Castle: New Tax Delivery Scheduling
Guilds who control Stoneguard Castle now have extra privileges. The update introduces the ability to schedule Tax Deliveries, making it easier to manage resources and set strategic timings for your deliveries. For guilds invested in territory and castle control, this change is a game-changer, offering more flexibility in handling your stronghold’s assets and making guild coordination even more essential.
Adjustments & Improvements: Equipment, Skills, and UI
Here’s a roundup of other quality-of-life upgrades introduced in Update 1.7.0:
- Equipment Comparison: Extracted items can now be compared with your equipped gear, so you can immediately see the impact of each enhancement.
- UI Enhancements: Several UI fixes streamline your experience, including a fix where pressing ESC no longer shuts down the whole inventory screen.
- Combat Visuals: Heavy Attacks now have sharper visual effects, boosting the intensity of combat animations and making each hit feel that much more powerful.
- Dagger Skill Fix: The Assassin Step passive skill glitch, where effects remained active after switching weapons, has been corrected.
First Castle Siege Event: November 17
On November 17, we’ll witness the server’s first Castle Siege event, where rival guilds will clash for dominance and legacy. With these new updates and features, server storylines will be more dynamic than ever, creating an epic battlefield for players looking to leave their mark on Throne and Liberty history.
Whether you’re diving into Arena Season One, exploring new equipment options, or fighting your way to the Peace-mode boss battles, Update 1.7.0 is packed with fresh content to elevate your gameplay. We’ll see you on the battlefield and, of course, in Solisium!
